關于新課改 新課堂——記“先學后教”模式在高三英語復習中的運用

Ⅰ 問題的提出
自2009年下半年開始,我校在各位領導及科任教師的集體研究下,開始實行了“先學后教,當堂訓練”的課堂教學模式。所謂“先學后教,當堂訓練”,就是讓學生提前預習課本,找出疑難點,老師在課堂上解決學生的困惑,并給出針對性的訓練,檢測學生對知識的掌握情況,一節課結束時再適當布置加強訓練,讓學生在課外時間再鞏固所學知識。下面就是“先學后教,當堂訓練”模式在高三英語復習課的實際運用。
Ⅱ. 新模式的運用
本文就以復習模塊二Unit 5 Lesson 1為例。
這篇課文主要記述一個歌手開演唱會表演的全過程,我們要求學生提前熟讀課文,找出重點句子,分析句子結構,并理解作者的寫作模式。所以我們先把本節課的復習目標給學生。
一、復習目標:
1.掌握本節課的重點生詞及短語:effect,disappoint,be used to,impress,unclear,perform,fantastic…
2.閱讀有關音樂會的評論,了解此種類型的閱讀題材。
3.語法:when,while,although等引導的狀語從句。
4.掌握課文中的重點句型及其考點。
二、課堂展示
課文重點句型鏈接:
1.Canadian singer and song writer, Alanis Morissettee, is used to being in the public eye.
2. Her most famous album Jagged Little Pill came out in 1995 when she was only twenty-one years old.
3.There was not an empty seat anywhere in the concert hall at last Thursday’s event, although it was an extremely cold night.
4.Her singing was full of feeling; the first part of the song was filled with anger, while the last part expressed love and joy.
5. At the end of the three hours, Moressette showed that she was a true performer, singing a well-known song “Heartache”.
讓學生把自己找的句子和展示的句子進行比較,讓他們認真讀這些句子并找出考點。
案例一:Her most famous album Jagged Little Pill came out in 1995 when she was only twenty-one years old.在這句中,學生找出了come out 和when這兩個用法。在此,我就讓學生猜出come out的意思,并回顧一下come的其他短語,然后展示兩個練習題:
(1)改正句子中的錯誤:
①When will the dictionary be come out?
②My dream were come true.
本句中還有一個重要的詞就是when,這個詞在高考中考的比較多,多用于時間狀語從句和定語從句中。但是學生經常容易混淆這兩種句型。下面就是一組對比性的例子,讓學生自己判斷。
I. I loved history when I was at school.
2. Sunday is the only day when I can relax
學生基本上都能判斷正確,第一個是時間狀語從句,第二個是定語從句。判斷的依據就是看when從句前有沒有表示時間的先行詞。
(2009江蘇,23)Because of the financial crisis, days are gone _____local 5-star hotels charged 6,000 yuan for one night.
A.if B.whenC. which D. since
答案:B 前面有days做先行詞,后面的從句句子成分齊全,故選when,引導定語從句。
when的另一個考點就是和動詞的時態綜合在一起。
以2010年全國卷Ⅱ第7題為例:
(2010全國Ⅱ,7) Tom was about to close the window _____his attention was caught by a bird
A. when B. if C. and D. till
答案:A 本題考查了“...be about to do when...”。但是關于這一題型還有其他搭配。下面就展示一些歷年高考題,讓學生自己去總結結構。 ①(2006安徽)I was going along the street looking for a place to park when the accident occurred.
②(2009福建)She had just finished her homework when her mother asked her to practise playing the piano yesterday.
學生很快就找出了“was/were doing+when+一般過去式”和“had done+when+一般過去式”的搭配。為了讓學生更好地掌握這個知識,就讓它們熟讀并爭取背誦這些高考題。
案例二:Her singing was full of feeling; the first part of the song was filled with anger, while the last part expressed love and joy.
學生迅速找出be full of 和be filled with這兩個意思相同的短語,以及while表示轉折,強調對比的用法。例如:
(2006全國Ⅱ)We thought there were 35 students in the dinning hall, _____, in fact , there were 40.
A. whileB. whetherC. what D. which
此題選while,用法和意思與課文原句相同。但是while還有其他用法,于是就舉出一些高考例句,讓學生猜詞義和用法。
① While the Internet is of great help, I don’t think it’s a good idea to spend too much time on it.(08湖南)
② Mary made coffee while her guests were finishing their meal.(2010全國Ⅰ)
在第一句中while作“雖然,盡管”講,引導讓步狀語從句,在第二句中,while作“趁著……;當……時”講,引導時間狀句。
通過以上兩個案例,學生在課堂上就可以把課本和高考題緊密聯系,掌握考點,既提高了他們的積極性,又激發了學生舉一反三的變式思維。
案例三:在把以上重點句子剖析并梳理之后,就讓學生做一些相關的限時練習。題型包括:品句填詞,選擇適當短語填空,改錯及高考真題。以部分為例:
①Tom was very d _____at the d _____result.(失望)
②Your company I ______upon me deeply.
③改錯 The bottle is filled of water.
④真題(2009安徽)—I wonder how much you charge for your services.
—The first two are free ____the third costs 30 dollars.
A. whenB. while C. until D. before
案例四:作業
復習課不僅僅讓學生復習一些知識點,更重要的是要他們學會綜合運用,針對學生基礎薄弱的現實,我就給學生布置一篇小作文。
作文:
小明過去起來的很晚,但現在他已經習慣了早起。每天成千上萬的人看見他在街上賣雞蛋。為了養家糊口,他每天都這樣履行職責。他的雞蛋賣的很好,這讓他很出名。盡管他現在還不富有,但卻對未來充滿希望。老師講的小明的故事給我留下了深刻的印象。我決定好好學習,天天向上。
短語提示:used to; be used to doing; sell; make; perform; be impressed on sb, be full of
Ⅲ. 結束語
“先學后教,當堂訓練”模式為我們的教學提供了很好的指導方針,讓每位老師都能夠貼近考情,突出重點,激活思維,舉一反三,讓每一位學生都能夠快樂學習,熱愛學習。雖然它的運用時間還比較短,但是經過長期的探索,最終會取得預期的成功。
